Question: Why Can't I Find an Employee that Returned from Leave When I Do an Employee Search?

 

Question: An employee just came back from a leave, but I can't seem to find them when I do an Employee search. Why?

 

Answer: When an employee has the On Leave Indicator box checked on their profile, the profile is in inactive status. To search for inactive status employees, there are special criteria needed in the search.

 

Solution: On the Employee Search Criteria screen, there is an Include Inactive check box.  This check box must be checked to search for the inactive employee. After the employee is found, click the Edit link (Employee Search Results section on that screen) in the appropriate row. On the Employee Information screen, remove the check mark in the On Leave Indicator check box.
