Question: Who Can View Ticklers in SACWIS?

Question:  Our agency has a facilitator (not the caseworker) who is responsible for scheduling SARs and Case Reviews.  Can SACWIS alert the facilitator that a Case Review or SAR is due?  Or, must the facilitator be assigned to the case to view any ticklers?

Answer:  A worker cannot view ticklers for any case unless that worker has been assigned to the case. For your facilitator to see the Case Review or SAR ticklers, he or she must be assigned to the case. However, it is possible to do this if your agency puts a procedure in place to assign that facilitator to all cases that are transferred to the ongoing unit.  (Cases can have multiple workers assigned.)

Note: The tickler escalation process is from worker to supervisor, and then to their supervisor's supervisor. Therefore, the tickler will not escalate to a fourth level of administration.
