On December 27th, the Consolidated Appropriations Act became law, targeting temporary support to protect vulnerable youth impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The bill provides emergency support and new flexibility for young people in foster care through September 30th, 2021.The Independent Living and Transition Age Youth Team and the Office of Fiscal & Monitoring hosted a webinar on April 6, 2021 providing information regarding funding and practice guidance regarding the temporary provisions for current and former foster youth provided by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021.
