Functionality of Adoption Subsidy Eligibility in SACWIS
The webinar titled "New Functionality of Adoption Subsidy Eligibility in Ohio SACWIS was held December 7, 2020.
Adoption Subsidy screens provide a user-friendly, comprehensive workflow that guides the user through the eligibility determination process which mirrors everyday practice. This webinar took attendees from start to finish across multiple scenarios.
The presentation began with establishing eligibility and moved through the natural progression of adoption subsidies including: creating new subsidies (AA, SAMS and Nonrecurring), creating subsidy payments and creating subsidy reviews. Attendees also learned how to use the new withdraw functionality. The new functionality will assist with negotiating subsidies and will calculate the Monthly Maintenance Cost of Care.
The new Eligibility functionality will focus on criteria specific to each child as dictated by ODJFS Policy and Rules and allow the child’s eligibility to be determined prior to negotiating. Click here to view the webinar The Q&A Document from the webinar is attached to this article.
